So much for a launch error free 2015.

joab7774138d ago

None of this worked for me. It's says play but says app not found.

When I go to library, you cannot delete it. It does not appear in my applications at all.

So I can't delete, can't re download and can't play.

YEAH!!!!

Blackmangus4137d ago

Here is the fix for that. 1. Go to Playstation Store using a laptop. (I tried using PS and mobile and it doesn't work.) 2. once you sign in highlight your name with the mouse so that a drop down box comes up. 3. in the drop down box select Download List. 4. once there you will see two downloads for Grim Fandango one for PS3/Vita and one for PS4. Select download to PS4 on the one for PS4 and you will get a notification on your PS4 that it's downloading. 5. Issue Resolved.

I think its not big deal, is not that big in size isn't?

HanCilliers4138d ago

Not big at all, article states that

Alucardx034138d ago

500MB? It's 4.48 GB for me.

plut0nash4138d ago

Still small imo. Look at Halo MCC and Wolfenstein.

Alucardx034138d ago

It's small but the PSN servers seem super slow right now. I've got a blazing fast connection and I'm only pulling in about 1mbps. I had to uninstall and now I'm looking at a long wait. Oh well.

Fastandslow4136d ago

ah sorry i was looking at the steam version ha ha

Vanfernal4138d ago

I got the game to download by using the PS app on my phone and making it download on my PS4 from there. Hope this helps.

joab7774138d ago (Edited 4138d ago )

I just tried that. Hoping it helps. Might be too late though.

UPDATE!

You are the man! It worked. I had already bought, so on my phone app I just added to queue, and when I turned it on, the app was there downloading. THANK YOU! Even Sony had no idea lol!

badseed914137d ago

Man, you rules xDDD.

Thanks to your post I could download the damn game xD.

Thanks a lot.

Grim Fandango Remastered Review | TheXboxHub

Dave writes: "The weakest of the LucasArts remasters, Grim Fandango Remastered on Xbox One has aged the most in terms of its visuals and obscure puzzling. There’s a fantastic story being told here, with Glottis, Manny, Chepito and the rest being absolute belters. But they’re stuck in a limbo of bloated sandboxes, plodding character speeds and puzzles that should have come with a pre-packaged walkthrough."

They have Remastered for a long time.

Bender65022035d ago (Edited 2035d ago )

And they have been awesome for an even longer time than they have been remastered.Played all of these first time round, along with Monkey island series . A time when point n' click adventures where at their pinnacle, and when eight or sixteen colours on screen was considered bleeding edge graphics. I'm not sure if a modern audience will embrace them in the same way today, but I sure hope they do. Maybe I'll have to drag out my old DX66 based DOS BOX for a replay of the orignals.

These games have aged terribly. There's still some humour there, for sure, but it's a slog between those points. No doubting they were awesome back in the day, but man, don't waste your time.

Dudeson2047d ago

Gotta disagree on this. These games are gems and didn't even need the remakes to still be enjoyable! Grim fandango especially is a great game that I would encourage everyone to try when you are in a mood to game with your feet kicked up, seat in lounge mode and want to have a laugh.

MadLad2047d ago

I also disagree.
I watched a playthrough of Grim, back in the day, so never made a point to play it; but I highly enjoyed going through the remasters of Full Throttle, and DotT, having never played the originals.

No nostalgia involved. I just thought they were highly entertaining experiences.

Wretchedstain2047d ago

I have a real appreciation for the 'Day of the tentacle' remaster, it was and still is a masterpiece to me. How everything ties in and how it was written was so well thought out. Took me weeks to figure it all out and finish the game back in the early 90's, and once I did, I could speed run it and finish it in under an hour (let alone all the time sunk in to finish it).

Schafer: Remember when I used to make good games and wasn't a huge asshole!?
