I will pick this up, along with the DMC4: Special Edition.

Can't wait for the glorious 60fps.

Interesting how we are seeing a lot of remasters in 60 fps but not the recent games in 60 fps a lot of the time. I guess it's worth it for most people to trade off for more polygons / texture details - but I hope some games take a focus on frames per second instead so we get both flavors of gaming this gen not just in the Remasters either.

I would choose 1080p 60fps over graphics any day. Screw the casuals game companys try to sell their consoles to for so called next-gen graphics, what I want is amazing gameplay and Nintendo delivers the best platformers around at a smooth 60fps on low powered Wii U hardware. Why Nintendo can make games look better than some of my PS4 games and definitely run butter I may never know. This game will be amazing on my PS4.

Well in a game like this, 60FPS is almost required. Foxtrot I agree, we would have had 60fps in the first place if we had real devs making the game. Hopefully Capcom learned their lesson and we see the real Dante once again.

Nice! I let you know when the part of me that gives a shit what you say comes around!

Remember ya got 2 bubbles left! Choose wisely.

jonboi244126d ago

I surprisingly enjoyed this game the first time still hate the game's Dante but man was the combat fun. That 60fps is sexy may get when it goes on sale.

Tedakin4126d ago

This was the best DMC game. I don't understand the hate.

MrUndrhill4126d ago

Yeah I thought it was awesome, and I have played the series in its entirety. I think sometime the vocal minority in the community whips everyone else up. In the end it was a cool story, great varied levels and incredible combat. Perhaps the re-release will let more people get up on it.

I feel dmc3 was the best but dmc was good too

DmC: Devil May Cry - So Good They Named it Twice

DmC: Devil May Cry launched 10 years ago to critical acclaim, but caused a significant stir amongst fans of the series.

SDuck1206d ago

all in all, it was the 2nd most replayed by me (first being dmc5)

Godmars2901206d ago

Named it twice cause they lacked imagination.

ApocalypseShadow1206d ago

No matter how many times they try to push this game, I'll never play it.

But the PR keeps pushing it and pushing it when other DMC games are better and sold better.

TheLigX1205d ago

Lol that’s absurd. You must be a real charmer.

Sgt_Slaughter1206d ago (Edited 1206d ago )

Ah we're at that point in time where failed games end up being needlessly defended and pushed as "underrated" or "gems"

There's a reason this caused Capcom to go back to the traditional DMC franchise.

DMC V became the top selling game in the series by a longshot. Even the team was more eager to make a new DMC game rather than try and continue the DmC reboot/spin-off and listened to fan input for V.

cue the puff pieces for Ninja Theory. Like what we saw happen with Deathloop and Tokyo, the MS marketing team is starting the hype machine early. So we see the revisionist history with their past games. Suddenly it's the best in the series lol. They've never made a bad game, they've just never made a successful one. Now, right or wrong because of the timing, their new game has the extra pressure of being the face of GP in 2022 alongside Starfield and Redfall. A lot of pressure for a studio that made its last game with 30 people. Let's hope 4th time's the charm

It sold poorly it’s why we have DMC5 instead of DmC 2 and from what I’ve been seeing of that Anarchy Reigns clone from Team Ninja I think it was for the better.
