The Division Classes Explained - How Do Classes Work?

Tom Clancy's The Division is an open world third-person shooter with role-playing elements that is set in the United States in the wake of devastating pandemic that sweeps through the country bringing it to its knees. The game features a 'classless' system whereby players are free to create their character as they please and tweak their skills, stats and loadouts on the fly so as to enable them to tailor their playstyle and experience for a variety of different encounters. This aims to prevent the player feeling locked in to any one role, and in turn afford them the opportunity to experiment with their character. Find out more in the video below.

As long as it's not like destiny with repetitive missions and constant re-spawning enemies.

im sure they have seen the Destiny backlash and will be making notes.

bananaboats4161d ago

Im sure there will be repetitive missions. When making an MMO style game its bound to happen. The real concern should be do they make those missions fun and worth doing?

I pray Ubisoft has some sense left and doesn't F this one up!

@naBs
I was excited for this game three E3's ago...but my excitement has been tempered severely the more Ubisoft messes up both established franchises and new ip's...I hope to be surprised by The Division, but I no longer expect greatness. The Division went from looking like one of the most promising new titles on the horizon, to just being one more game in the massive list of promising games for 2015/2016 that could be really good. They revealed it way too early, and haven't even delivered a whiff of console gameplay in 3 years. Not good.

Yeah mate I hear you, what Ubisoft had shown us looked really promising but after that there's not been much, and after seeing practically all their other releases go down hill I have only worried for this game, so much potential in it I just hope they're not stupid enough to mess this one up as well...I'm just not getting my expectations too high anymore with Ubisoft.

Hope it has an offline mode, u know with a story line

WESKER20154161d ago (Edited 4161d ago )

Be sure to make the offline/online single player component stable Ubisoft, considering the trouble with this always online tripe of late, please please make sure you have a single player component that can be played online/offline for backup, multiplayer only is not the way forward you are only limiting the game.

In other words, let us play lone wolf style if we want, if it's anything like DayZ in terms of gameplay i will buy it day one.
