No problem here playing halo 3 and just got off of AW 30 minutes ago!

My matchmaking still isn't working.. I love Xbox and Halo, but this is inexcusable. MS should have made sure something like this wouldn't happen day 1 and tarnish the big release.

Normally, I would criticize Sony for their ridiculous down times, but I guess I should cut them some slack, seeing this. I know this isn't a common issue by any means, but having a network on 2 platforms seems at least somewhat difficult to manage with popular games for Microsoft and with Sony supporting 3 if you include the Vita, it's making more sense.

I think any issues with either platform networks will subside once they discontinue services for the PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360. Then it'll [hopefully] be full steam ahead on current resources.

The fact these problems have persisted for over 24 hours with no real progress being made is pretty worrying but I guess these things happen sometimes and we'll forget we ever had problems in a week or so. When you can get in games though, it's so damn smooth and awesome at 60fps.

this sucks hopefully this gets fixed buy the time i get the game on Friday.

Getting sick and tired of every new fucking game having broken mp. Im done buying games on Day 1. Ill let everyone else bite the bullet while I sit back and wait for good feedback. I mean do they even test the servers anymore? Seems like they dont to me. They should have done a beta for people who pre ordered. I mean they are doing one for Halo 5 so why not launch a beta for the collection so there is less bitching and moaning when the game launches?

Doesn't it suck that big multiplayer games often break the thing they need to be multiplayer shame I hope that we can get past this someday but a abnormal ammount of people doing the same thing can easily stress the systems I can't really think of a solution but I'm not an engineer

What do you expect? Ok yes it takes forever to get into a match. But its still early days. And plus why is everyone moaning? you have 45 campaign missions to get through so its not like its the end of the world. I think this game is a solid 9.5 out of 10 though.

I'm gonna stop buying games when they get released seeing how they don't work right out the box..

This is ridiculous that looking forward to patches after the game is released is the norm now.. smh

Not inherently, no. The way it's mostly being executed, yes.

As long as the games are old enough to deserve, I don't want anything from last gen, anything PS3 and older is fair game, although I would rather go back to the PS2 and earlier. Remastered last gen games is the biggest sin of this gaming generation, and I despise it.
