Today Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition was released on the Playstation Store (EU) and was shortly pulled from the store there after. Devolver Digital claimed that the release on Duke Nukem 3D today was a mistake and also said that the game still needed a little more work before it will be ready for the public. This release did however allow several PS3/Vita owners to pay and download the game for £7.99. In a message to these earlier adopters Devolver Digital tweeted:

It's a mod so it's not Bethesda. I trust modders more than Bethesda's buggy releases.
Lol iam sure you have valid beef with Bethesda as most of us do. But this was a 3D realms game not Bethesda.
3D realms were some of the best devs back in the 90s.

Honestly happy having the Switch port. It's just nice to have Duke 3D on the go. Something I could only ever dream of back in my younger days first playing it lol.

I still remember hitting the space bar in front of the dancers in level 2 back in Duke 3D. I was the DN Cashman cheat on so it would just throw money, but there was a different animation that played if you hit space when next to them. Sadly, my Grandpa was right behind me watching when I did it...
