The developer behind The Slaughtering Grounds was recently the focus of a video by Jim Sterling and they didn't take his criticism all too well. They ended up responding appallingly by outright attacking Sterling with a new video.
Yesterday, a court dismissed game developer Digital Homicide’s $10 million case against YouTube critic Jim Sterling. Fortunately for those of us who write about video games, Sterling’s scathing critique of Digital Homicide’s game Slaughtering Grounds won’t create precedent for developers slamming critics with million-dollar lawsuits.
These "developers" are easily some of the most prime examples of human pieces of crap. They literally made a bunch of games, that would make the Atari 2600 look like a super computer, that were just slapped together assets they stole from Gary's Mod, all so they could claim they have this massive portfolio when people call bullshit; they then immediately played the victims and tried to sue for tens of millions of dollars. A couple of friggin scam artists, through and through. I hope that their legal bills for all this pointless mess were incredibly high and that they're swimming in debt now. Absolutely pathetic.
Suing for 10 million because they were called out for stealing assets and selling it as there own, seriously what was going through their heads when they did this?

Is that what Kotaku took from this? Wow. That's not even what the suit was about.
Maybe the author should be made aware, that if they make up sh*t, then they certainly can be slapped with multi-million dollar lawsuits. Sterling didn't do that, which is why this case was never going to go anywhere to begin with. It was frivolous. Sterling said no lies, nor did he do anything wrong.
But not all scenarios where this may happen will be like that, so journalists should be responsible, and think that this particular case is somehow indicative that they can just do whatever they want. Integrity is still important. Just be truthful, and you'll be fine.

If Digital Homicide was a honest and consumer friendly company, I'd be worried. Have you seen the s*** they try to pass off as games? Trust me, They were ruining their rep way before Jimmy started calling them out.
I could care less about the validity of this lawsuit. Jim Sterling is a fool and a bad face of gamers. Sorry bud.
He does not represent the core gamer base and his blues brothers attire shows it
Jim Sterling is no better or worse of a face of gamers than the average gamer, but a fool he is not.
Although not his greatest fan, if you have followed this story, you would know the fool is the developer and if you think Jim's a bad look for gamers, the developer here is far worse, not being able to reason, name calling, twisting words and definitions etc

He was always a PC first player. He had xbox 360 and no ps3. Now he has both ps4 and xbone along with da PC. While I don't mind anyone playing games on consoles and count myself a PC player; he's a lot more diverse and plays most genres of games as well, far off from being a PC fanboy.

You misunderstood. He had PC and xbox 360 to begin with. I don't know exactly which one he had first since I don't know him personally but I'm pretty sure he was a PC gamer to begin with based on his favorite games and such. f.i. he always says he's a sucker for 4X strategy games.

Great list Joe, seems like a win for the new consoles. Only Amazing Spiderman 2, which I agree is really Bad, but I still enjoyed my time with it.

i dont watch his live streams or anything like that so im not sure what he has been upto, but he has been lacking in 2014 reviews.
