"Midora, the top-down adventure game inspired by The Legend of Zelda and Secret of Mana, will be completely DRM-free on PC, Mac and Linux, its developer has promised.
The game will be available in the form of direct downloads via the Humble Store, as well as Steam keys, and both will be given to those that pre-order from the Humble Store. Pre-ordering the game will also allow one to try out the Steam Early Access version of the game."
The developers behind Midora, the ill-fated 2D action-adventure game that was plagued by inadequate funding issues since April last year, will be taking steps to offer refunds to the campaign’s backers.
Crowd-funding is always a huge gamble, but even as a non-backer, I'm sad to see this game fail.
The game was garnering a lot of hate despite the interest. It is always wise to have a set plan before doing anything. Never let excitement blind you; keep a cool head at all times.

This seems to be the main concern from the team, along with their personal image amongst the public. From reading the comments, many of their backers are losing hope, as they have stopped believing in the broken promises that are Midora's scarce updates."
