
VRFocus - It's been a long time coming, but Sixense looks to be finally nearing shipping of its pre-production units of the STEM motion controller system for virtual reality (VR) experiences. The company has this week issued an update on the status of its shipping schedule, suggesting that those first units could finally be on their way to Kickstarter backers in the very near future. Earlier in the year the pre-production units were confirmed to be delayed as Sixense improved the technology behind them.

Last week saw Sixense provide a new update on its STEM System motion controller for virtual reality (VR) experiences. The company revealed that it was currently waiting on the arrival of new circuit boards in order to press on with production of its prototype kit.
