VRFocus- It’s been a busy few months for Sixense and its STEM motion controller system for virtual reality (VR) experiences. Late last year the company announced support for the Gear VR smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD) alongside the Oculus Rift. Then in mid-December 2014 it began shipping its initial prototype system for certain developers, allowing them to effectively test out the kits before sending them back so that the company can work on fine-tuning them. With this in mind, shipping of pre-production prototypes has been slightly delayed.
Last week saw Sixense provide a new update on its STEM System motion controller for virtual reality (VR) experiences. The company revealed that it was currently waiting on the arrival of new circuit boards in order to press on with production of its prototype kit.
