I need this so bad. It looks like the perfect Godzilla game. I'm hoping it has a good amount of Kaiju and at least be 2 player. Mothra and King Ghidorah have been confirmed.
the film was pretty mince, so I can only imagine the game wont be much better.

Just give us a 2D 60fps 1080p Rampage remake with great physics featuring all the monsters from the old Japanese Creature Features including Ultraman and Smog Monster
Film was awful.
I remember getting Godzilla: Destroy all monsters on the Gamecube. I actually enjoyed the game, and despite the graphics and occasional glitches, it was a really fun game. I would play a updated version of this game in a heartbeat. If Gameplay for the New Godzilla game has a similar spirit of fun to the Gamecube game that was fun...... I might just pick this one up
Godzilla as a character, story, monster, is SOoooo Cool! A strong Character, Story, etc... can definitely help carry gamers through a game when glitching or lack of details are used. A Godzilla game doesn't need next gen visuals..... just make it run buttery smooth, glitch free, great physics, and fun....
I disagree with the last American Godzilla movie being awful. I found it much closer to the older Japanese movies than any previous attempts made by Americans before it and the Godzilla in this movie was a much closer approximation of the old Japanese original Godzilla in personality as well.
I like the fact the Director decided to keep the event based storytelling of the the old Godzilla Movies. Yes it is a bit choppy as it goes from event to event and doesn't really flow but that that's how the Old School Godzilla movies progessed. It's bit fast paced and can quickly lose a person if not paying attention but it felt like a Godzilla movie.
Lots of Japanese Godzilla movies flowed like this and some didn't even really have a plot or story.... just fighting. To really get the Godzilla universe you have to watch several movies consecutively and that works great in the movies..... in a video game.....
I expect smoother more detailed plot as well as smoother flow of events.....
