No surprises here. Just bring me back the Manager mode of FIFA 05-09 games and more variety in soundtracks.

Then I'll consider to buy FIFA 17 in 2020.

hkgamer4315d ago

or just get ea access. im sure the backlog of outdated sports sims would keep you happy for years.

Fifa 06/07 soundtracks were amazing.

Metallox4315d ago

FIFA 07 soundtrack is massive indeed. They need to bring up that kind of stuff again, there's too much dubstep in recent FIFA soundtracks, and that's not my music style.

gravelchalice4315d ago

Technically they are, because they're just FIFA 15 re-skinned ;)

well, if its vita and wii version then i am not surprised if its still fifa 11.

thats if they still release it on those platforms

the_dark_one4315d ago

And polish dont forget the polish xD

Kran4315d ago

dont forget the box art. The box art is doubly important for some stupid reason. More important than the actual game itself.

Highlife4315d ago

Don't forget the DLC the ever important DLC.

Take away scripting and ill be happy.

Clown_Syndr0me4315d ago

Yawn. I wish extreme sports games were still made. I miss Tony Hawks, Dave Mirra, Skate... I feel for the kids that are new to consoles this generation, or even last generation. There used to be variety, not just Fifa and COD. (I know there's loads more than that, but sometimes it doesn't feel that way.)

lsujester4315d ago

Even the Street versions of the major sports were a nice alternative to nothing but simulations year after year.

And I would absolutely love a new generation Skate. I had a stupid amount of fun in those games just riding around doing little tricks.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

badz14987d ago

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee99d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

thorstein133d ago

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator133d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

rlow1133d ago

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
