This was a very interesting article and I was very moved by it. I'm glad to see the step up. The focus on accessibility will ultimately benefit all gamers.
I think this is the perfect article to bring up an often overlooked little tidbit:
Bayonetta 2 will feature an all-touch-screen mode, where everything can be done using a single hand.
That makes it the perfect introductory action beat-em-up game for those few handicapped people out there that only have use of one hand, and practically the only high-octain action game of its kind on consoles with a mode catering directly to them.
Yet another use for the game pad; making games more accessible for disabled gamers.^_^
