Bionic Commando is back, now in 3D, in the same universe he just got done saving. It's five years after the events of the original side scroller, and Nathan Spencer has undergone a bit of a change--he looks completely different (but that can be rectified, read on!).
His appearances are just about the only change that Swedish developer GRIN have made to the series. As I progressed through the demo made available to us, the team kept pointing out features from the original game that have made the transition. Platforms are the same chromatic scheme, enemy units have been updated rather than re-imagined, the whole process of making the game seems to have been an effort to pay as much homage to the original as possible. And to that effect, I must say I'm impressed."
