GR: Sequels always feel pressure to live up to their predecessors, more so than most for the iOS version of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2. It's probably already a shock for Civ fans that this sequel won't have a console version (at least none of which has been announced), but the original title on iOS was successful too as one of the top-sellers on the platform. This time around, Civilization Revolution 2 discards the rarely-used multiplayer component from the original and focuses on the single-player strategy the series is primarily known for.

Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution 2+ has been rumoured for a while now. It was first rated back in May of this year, then the trophy list for the handheld game turned up online a few weeks back.
Today, popular online gaming outlet Play-Asia.com started accepting pre-orders for the strategy title.
yes! I will definitely be getting this one. I've been hoping that this game would see the light of day.
Surprised this is coming out to be honest. Simply because the website I saw post it had posted another Vita rumor involveing Resident Evil that turned out to be not true.
I played the original game and disliked it severely. It might be fun for someone who has never played a proper civ game but if you HAVE done that then CivRev offers nothing IMHO.

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2+ is scheduled to be released on December 2015 in Japan.

EB: 2K has announced the arrival of the 2K Editors’ Choice Strategy Bundle on the iOS App Store, which will contain the iOS versions of Civilization Revolution 2, XCOM: Enemy Within, and Sid Meirer’s Starships. The bundle will cost $19.99, which is a 60% saving over buying the games individually. This will be a limited time offer, so act now or be left out in the 2K Non-Strategy-Having cold!
Odd, more sims games need to make their way to consoles! Limiting to PC and mobile feels... limited.
I can see why this would make a good mobile game. Sims like these seem like they were always made for touch controls.
Surprised there's only a mobile version and no console version, since I don't have an iAnything.
I can see another console version coming in the future.
This was a fun spin off from the regular Civ series. Looking forward to the next one.
