Yager developers preview their new free-to-play Dreadnaught multiplayer battleship game, Dreadnought, in this exclusive gameplay interview from E3 2014.
From GameIndustry.biz: "Texas-based entertainment firm Six Foot has laid off around a third of its development staff following a number of issues with its flagship game, Dreadnought.
Made in collaboration with Spec Ops: The Line developer Yager, Dreadnought released on Steam just last week but delays, slow sales, and mixed reviews have resulted in financial difficulties."
They should say Rime developer. The game they were working on wasn’t yet known to as many people.
Financial problems to blame.
Being in the game industry is a stuff ass career. I don't envy anyone in it. Hope they find new jobs.

The game is completed, are they supposed to just pay people to sit around? Developers are pretty much contractors, they know well in advance that they should be seeking their next assignment.
And that's an issue with the business, given that the lion share of - any - profits goes to shareholders. A mentality that includes giving little to no security to dev teams, overworking them, and shortchanging them in anyway possible besides.
It was a big mistake to make this very niche title free to play.Stupid and very risky business decision.
Six Foot has announced that Dreadnought, the free-to-play tactical shooter featuring massive capital ships, has officially launched on Steam.
This game was a real gem at E3 if you could find it.
