It shouldn't be, Subtitles cost nothing to add into games, and optional visual cues for where audio usually is hardly going to cost a fortune. Great article, great point.

Valve has captions in all of their games for the hearing impaired. You would think all other devs and publishers could easily add in the same feature.

Even thought I use an cochlear implant I need subtitles out of habit especially since jrpg is one of my fav genres so all in all Im glad theres subtitles

which when it comes to nintendo I wont have to think about going to options to see if its available
