The question is if this new Starship studio, whom will most likely be making a racing game, is exclusive to Sony or is now multiplatform. The article didn't say so it will be interesting to find out in the future.

WeAreLegion4430d ago

I'm pretty interested to find that out, too. They were starting up an "independent studio", but we haven't heard anything about that lately.

If Sony's smart, they'll at least make sure these guys release on PlayStation, if not fund them/buy them.

Team_Litt4430d ago

Yeah I don't see these guys wanting to be bought by SONY anytime soon. The team is comprised of ex Sony staffers whose whole team was sacked by SONY.
It would be a loss to gaming if SONY picked these guys up only to sack em down the line due to them being in financial disarray.

DOMination-4430d ago

Exactly. Why would they be exclusive when they Either left Sony willingly or got fired. Multiplat for sure.

well if he got a new studio this quickly i'm pretty sure he's had this in the works for months now(maybe even a year) so maybe that's his reason for leaving, maybe he just wants to make some stuff other than racing games? i don't know, all i know is all these key people leaving sony's playstation division is getting me worried

VRFocus- Virtual reality (VR) has already demonstrated its ability to impact user's everyday lives. That said, VR enthusiasts are yet to see the technology used to enhance cooking. Liverpool-based technology studio Starship is hoping to change that with Cybercook, a new cooking simulation experience coming exclusively to the Gear VR smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD). The title aims to help users in creating new dishes and preparing ingredients. A demo for the experience launches today over on the Oculus VR Store.
