yes of course...

omg sometimes i cant belive :))))

Bennibop4435d ago

Not optimistic if they are using forza as an example it should always have been a static 60fps .

They are demonstrating how they were able to easily port the game over from Xbox DX11 to DX12 on PC and the game ran much smoother and was optimized before they even started tweaking it

I wouldn't say it was showing "how easy it is to port" cos with recent news coming out sayng the demo was running on a Black Titan(£900) you still need some beast of a machine to run it http://wccftech.com/forza-5... They should of shown Forza running at 1080p 60FPS on a more medium to high range graphics card to actually show DX12 port compatibility. To say a game that isn't really graphically demanding is running on a graphics card thats nearly double the price of the console port is pointless.

This demo was run on a Geforce Titan Black edition. It looks fantastic btw.

DoctorJones4435d ago

Really? I thought they were joking when they said it was running on a Geforce Titan Black in the paragraph of text just underneath the headline.

Thanks for letting us know it was running on a Geforce Titan Black edition, it would be easy to miss for many people I'm sure.

Wonder if we will find a lot of patches coming to the current games... or will developers just move forward with this.

The site states in their article that existing DX11 hardware will support DX12. It's basically code optimization and not adding new shaders. Makes sense now why Xbox One supports it.

Nice, the last few years of higher frame rates focus have been super lame, I’m glad to see a new technology taking center stage, I’d take a 1080p60 game with well implemented ray tracing over 8K at 70,000 frames per second any day.

Why Niffelheim Won't Start and Crashes with a Black Screen? - News

If your Niffelheim won't start and you've already tried generic fixes, then you're probably a victim of a DirectX vs Unity issue or a GFX card conflict.
