it was so good i barely touched the campaign, and ill still go back and play it and not touch the campaign while still having loads of fun. man, ill never know what that campaign is like...

SpiralTear4442d ago

That's the working of a great open-world game: one where you are bombarded with fun, distracting, engaging side-quests and never touch the main quest.

Ezz20134441d ago (Edited 4441d ago )

i still play it to this day on my pc
really great game

General Shrooms4441d ago

I'm one of the few who think the game is complete crap. Love the Elder Scrolls and love Fallout 1 & 2.

This game bored me to death.

MichaelZack4441d ago

What about it bores you? I'm always curious to get different perspectives.

MrTrololo4441d ago

You are just a nostalgia scrub

Fallout 3 is my #1 game of all time,I play it still and it holds up now just as much as it did then. Everything about it is just awesome,I've played it on 360 and PS3 and have to say it plays better on 360 the same as FONV,I have both but play FO3 a lot more. Story, gameplay in fact everything is just perfect. I'm hoping we don't have to wait forever for Fallout 4.

MONOLITHICIDE4441d ago (Edited 4441d ago )

Definently in my top five overall.
I just completed the campaign recently aswell and most of the dlc. Only have the Pitt and the swamp(forget the name at the moment) to play through. Superb game. Only wish their were less bugs. To this day I give it a 9/10.

Vegamyster4441d ago

Love the game and its DLC is pretty decent too.

I never played Fallout 1 & 2 but I really fell in love with Fallout 3. Ive always love exploring huge worlds & all those side quests is just a plus. I would pay $100 for Fallout 4 only because the ammount of things u can do in this world is ridiculous. I even enjoyed Fallout New Vegas. Lol I remember finding an underground arena that this girl held fights versus the most dangerous creatures in the waste & I won every single battle, even the one against 3 deathclaws & then u get to pound that chick in her room lol. Its just fun feeling like a total badazz. Hope they announce a Fallout 4.

Would be nice if they had New Vegas ready as well, especially because of the show.

Hopefully this doesn't have the same performance issues as Oblivion Remastered.

cloganart128d ago

I haven't seen anything on these performance issues? What's been going on?

walken7128d ago

Probably the Unreal Engine issues, I skipped it for that reason.

Snookies12129d ago (Edited 129d ago )

Throw in all the DLC as well, like Oblivion and I'll definitely bite. I recall having one trophy left to unlock on the PS3 version with 100+ hours in my save. When my save file got corrupted, lol. Very sad day.

To be fair though, Bethesda was trash at Playstation ports anyway.

Michiel1989128d ago

all devs sucked at porting to ps3 for the first like 3 years because no one had experience with the cell architecture. Even 1st party took a long while to get proficient with it, the difference between uncharted 1 and 3 is massive for example.

Extermin8or3_128d ago

Oh oh oh I can do this too. GTA 7 will be made at some point in the future. Fallout 5 will enter development in the future too

jznrpg128d ago

Everyone there should know most gamers want New Vegas and Morrowind more than anything.

Christopher128d ago

Which is why we won't get them. Gotta keep floating "support this one and it might happen".

BlaqMagiq1128d ago

Can't wait. Won't have to go back to my PS3 to play this when it comes out.

Fallout 3 remastered on the Nintendo Switch 2 is what we deserve, not the worst Fallout game

Fallout Day's disappointing news that Fallout 4 is coming to Switch 2 is a shame, as this 17-year-old entry is more deserving of a new port.

Why exactly do you think you deserve it??

Phoenix76200d ago

Fallout 4 isn't the worst game in the franchise. It's either Fallout 76 or Fallout BOS that's the worst.

gigoran8200d ago

PC and all other modern consoles never got a remaster of 3, but obviously the switch 2 was the tipping point to make it a reality... ahuh

1nsomniac200d ago

Meh, I thought 3 was garbage. I'm not a great fan of the franchise to be fair. They're like B-Movie films, really shallow and janky. 4 was definitely one of the better ones though.

UltimateOwnage200d ago

So the article makes a snippy entitled statement and acts like that is going to encourage a publisher to give them what they want. Okay.

Give us FO3 with all the dlc remastered like ESO. Load times faster, quality of life improvements, gun play improvements

I believe it shouldn't just be graphical they should make improvements where they can to make the game better. A simple face lift isn't what's needed

ZeekQuattro388d ago

Still my favorite one. I remember getting a digital copy of FO3 when I got FO4(XBO). It was nice to finally play a stable version of the game. Then when I got a Series S it was an even better expierence. Quick resume and FPS boost made it feel like a whole new game. Updated gunplay would be very welcome though. One of the few things FO4 did better.
