Based on my time with the Beta on PC. I have the following tips. Shoot fast, shoot first, shoot often.

You will ride the crazy chair, accept it.

Just because you can walk on a wall, you do not have to walk on a wall.

Leave your friends behind when the dropship retreat is sounded, and while you may think your tough taking on a Titan while on foot often does not end well for you.

Here's the best tip ever:

Stay da hell out of my way, and there's a chance you might not get destroyed.

lol, j/k...Those are some decent tips.

NaAsAr4440d ago

Well said. Though, I have taken down a titan or two on foot. but for the most part, it just doesn't end well

Garethvk4440d ago

Three was my limit but remember. As you are locking on, so are they and they have more armor and much bigger guns.

8BitBrit4440d ago

Those are some great tips! I definitely agree with them. Everything in moderation, like the wall hanging/walking. It's great to have that ability but it also can get you killed. Been there done that.

Garethvk4440d ago

I think with the Console control it may be a bit easier but working the mouse and keyboard to do that was tricky as I had the arrows for movemement and and a hot key. I spent more time focusing on the walking than combat so I tended to do it when not under fire like to scale a building a nail a person.

There were times when I was running and jumping that I completely face planted it into the wall in the beginning. I think with time and practice perfection will occur. I remember hating "diving to prone" in CoD. Eventually it became second nature and I used it tactfully in combat.

My biggest tip.. dont waste your time trying to shoot a titan as a pilot.. Go for the rodeo..

8BitBrit4440d ago (Edited 4440d ago )

Amen to that. In game types like "Last Titan Standing", being under the opponents dome-shield blasting away can really help your team win... especially when you are out of your Titan.

Allsystemgamer4440d ago

I've killed more titans on foot.

Rooftop. Cloak. Lock on with rocket fire. Jump to the next building. It works well

n4rc4440d ago

Ya? Think i managed to shoot one down.. Seemed to take forever unless you get some help

Yet I get all ninja like and rodeo 5/6 by myself and had a blast doing it

AngelicIceDiamond4440d ago

My BIGGEST tip is:

Don't get killed
Don't get killed
Don't get killed
Don't get killed

and well

Don't get killed.

lol

8BitBrit4440d ago

Hahahah yes! That is very important and a great goal. KSDD.

AngelicIceDiamond4440d ago

Lolzz seriously those are some great tips I will definitely remember those.

You're freaking me out, ice.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee63d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator98d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
