EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.
When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!
cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The free-to-play reboot topped 15 million players in under three weeks, but EA now claims it needs to reshape the development team.
The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result
Not sure why people are expecting KZ or Ryse graphics for a multiplayer game with so much going on. Could they be better yes. Are they terrible? No. I think it's a good looking game. Not beautiful or jaw dropping, but the gameplay makes up for it easily. And has anyone even seen what the 360 looks like? So we can't be too quick to judge X1 from 360.
And I'm not sure the matchmaking was in place for the BETA. The author suggests mixing teams up after the round. What if you have a party of 6 players? Your not going to break them up. Just like COD or BF, if you have a strong team against a bunch of randoms, your going to lose most likely. I havent encountered any frame rate issues.
All in all, not a bad article, good read.
I'm happy for XBOX players. I thought of getting an XBOX ONE for this game and this game only but I've decided against it simply because I've always hated the controller and running at 720 p?! C'mon- that's not next gen if you ask me. I'm happy with my PS4 & I do wish they went multi platform but we can't always get what we want I guess.
