I just played Titanfall pretty much all day after getting the beta invite this morning, and I have to say I am really impressed with what EA has done this time. If you don’t know what Titanfall is (what rock have you been under anyways?) , I’d describe it as a hybrid between Battlefield 4, Unreal tournament, and Mechwarrior. And that is a really really good thing.

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
I was starting to lose hype for this game as time went on past E3. I lost even more when I didn't get into Alpha and even more so when I thought I wouldn't play through the beta. When they made it availble to everyone I downloaded it and let my nephews play first, all three of them...
I sat and watched them go through trainging and 2 games each and thought this game looks pretty good but not what I thought...
Then, I got my hands on the controller and was blown away. Needless to say the demo was on from early morning until we all had to go to bed... Cant wait for this bad boy...

BF4 plays nothing like that, COD is your best reference and its more like a hybrid of Halo,COD and Mech warrior. If it was like BF4 in any way i'm sure the quality of this game would be much better.This game still has a long way to go to being a great game.I give it 3 months and its dead in the water.
Looooove all the haters! People really want this to fail! My honest opinion was at first I FRIGGIN HATED THIS GAME! It felt far too floaty, the weapons felt too similar, and the bots were distracting. But I really wanted to like Titanfall! And then the game just clicked. One moment of absolute awesomeness. This will be the next big thing if Microsoft doesn't mess this up. This is COD, with a lil UT, and a lot of MechWarrior.
Godz I understand where your coming from but betas don't get reviewed. Titanfalls beta is like and empty shell with nothing supporting it. I know so many people who played the beta who are completely turned off by the game now. A lot of COD players seem to be the only ones who like it because there very similar but the game is way to easy to play.To many things this game has to offer is making it very unappealing.I know there will be more once the game releases but I have a bad feeling this game wont be around for a long time especially when you got watchdogs coming out 2 months after and other more appealing games that will have legs to stand on.
I have the beta.Its the best multiplayer game i've played in years. It totally shits on COD.
Cant wait for the full game to come out.
