So glad I never brought this game now :)

Stupid idiots they are...

DeadRabbits4524d ago

It might bother OCD Perfectionists but for most its playable!

Gazondaily4524d ago

Yeah it is playable, no doubt and DICE are working on it but they're working on issues that shouldn't have existed in the first place, and certainly not issues that should be prevalent for so long.

Lets hope this patch stabilizes things. If I see another blue screen 'an error has occurred' I will cry.

sprinterboy4524d ago (Edited 4524d ago )

@deadrabbits

Agree somewhat, don't mind the occasional crash in MP but SP is a joke, took me about 4 tedious playthroughs to just finish sp, listening to the same old cutscenes over and over again is not fun when it's crashes your game save all the time, took me 4 attempts finishing off normal sp then another 4 Times for hard trophy etc etc

uncharted564524d ago (Edited 4524d ago )

I will get this game when I get my ps4. The game is extremely fun having played it on pc. Just needs to be fixed and EA needs to buzz off.

venom064524d ago (Edited 4524d ago )

i dont care how many it takes... the fact that they're committed to making it even better is what matters... The game is AMAZING now that the crashing has GREATLY decreased... even with the few hiccups, that are becoming less and less everyday, this game is STILL fun as hell...

It's mighty fishy how the same little sites make a mad dash to N4G to say 1 or 2 people are having an issue 20min after a patch release, without a shred of evidence. Hell, any CoD fanboy with a vindetta against EA/DICE or anything BF related can plaster something on N4G... show proof of issues after patch

Some PC Gamers are still using BETA drivers, have mangled registries, and have really old drivers on their PC's.

DICE has busted their butts fixing things and if you still have issues on the PC side then you may wanna start looking at YOUR PC before you start yelling at DICE.

I have only crashed ONCE and only had a no server connect issue on like day two of BF4 release but then again my drivers are up to date and I keep my registry clean.

Battlefield 4 no matter how many bugs is still such an epic game. The Destruction really put's it over the top compared to any other shooter out there.

Hammering away at enemies inside a structure as each gunshot or tank round chips away at it then eventually watching the structure collapse or explode to bits is the best going in any shooter right now.

This game is not as well Put as BF3 was. It feels Rushed, It released Rushed, The game took 16patches and the game is still broken. I am really glad I skipped out on EA wannabe COD FPS releases even if it was just 2 years. BF games used to release every4-5 years thats why people played BF3 so much. BF4 did sale 1/3 that BF3 did. Its sad really.

Mr7Beans4524d ago

-BF3 was also rushed, and it had a bad launch just like BF4.
-BF games used to release every 1-2 years, not 4-5.
Most of your comment, is wrong.

Mega244524d ago

This guy huh

People think they know what they talk about, the only long gap between a bf game was between 2 and Bad Company 2, and it wasn't that long, PC players see it as a long one since you never had BC1 and 1943. They actually put a BF game every 2 years.

All battlefield games have been rushed since EA wants to win the race against CoD, which it won't.

Rubberlegs4524d ago

If you count the Bad Company games yeah its more of 2yr dev time. BF2 was released in 2005, BF3 was released in 2011, that's a pretty big gap in between those two games where the dev cycle with BF4 was only two years.
I always felt that it does need a longer dev cycle with how much that goes into the multiplayer and they release enough content over time to keep it going strong.

MrRaccoon904523d ago

I Don't Count Bad Company at all. It was more of a Side BF engine game blah. Both games felt incomplete. BF3 to BF4 is not a huge jump at all It was very disappointing and the sales were much less than its predecessor.

i got a patch on my ps4 last week and since i havent had anyissues except audio going silent in cars, quads etc
rubber banding gone
server crashes gone

Shakengandulf4524d ago

I still have all of what you just mentioned, fell through the map a few times today, took at least 3~5 mins to sort it self out...
Crashed twice, rubber banding, sound loss on at least three different maps.
The last patch felt absolutely useless.
Infact, the last time it crashed, it took me and a mate out at the same time, coincidence?
(Ps4)

Mega244524d ago

maybe you two got a damaged ps4 or something, cuz most errors are gone now, I lag due to a really sucky internet, but other than that the game hass been running smooth.

Elwenil4524d ago

I play on PS4 and after the last patch my issues got worse. Conquest is near unplayable since you play 80% of the match and then crash and lose all your progress.

ramiuk14523d ago

i take it all back, went online about an hour after i wrote that and it was a total mess again lol.

EA Lays Off Staff Across All Battlefield Studios Following Record-Breaking Battlefield 6 Launch

EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee68d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

thorstein102d ago

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator102d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

rlow1102d ago

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
