Bohemia Interactive's CEO, Marek Spanel, responded to the criticism by pointing out that the studio has received very little revenue per hour of gameplay from the game over the years. DayZ has now managed to hit its new all-time-high player numbers with the release of the new Frostline expansion.
It is definitely the best DayZ mod out there. Especially for those who enjoy PvP. There is no other DayZ mod with a more hardcore PvP community than DayZero. Been playing there for many months. The devs have also fixed a vast amount of the bugs in DayZ, and I get much better framerate on DayZero than on any other version of DayZ.
They have also added brilliant things like an attachment system, so you can dismount scopes and silencer from some weapons, and attach them to others. etc.
