Veteran designer of Civilization IV fame puts gameplay first with new company -
Fancy a new 4X strategy game? Well, there’s a new one coming from a familiar name. Old World is the new 4X strategy game by Mohawk Games, a studio founded by Civilization IV lead designer Soren Johnson.
You may also have heard of Mohawk’s other game, Offworld Trading Company.

Soren Johnson of Mohawk Games joined Josh Bycer of Game-Wisdom for a livecast featuring Offworld Trading Company. The two spoke about the design of the game and did a skirmish play with Soren providing commentary and tips for learning the game.
