Ginx:The hard, steady splash of raindrops echoing in the dark alleyways of a sleeping, streetlit town. The rhythmic pad of footsteps through deep puddles, and the occasional gulp of fear as other presences make themselves known. Rain is a low-key adventure game with a clear mission – to tug on the heartstrings whilst taking players on a literal and figurative journey. Taking control of a sickly young boy who finds himself invisible on a dark and wet night, the player must seek out a mysterious girl who flees a similarly transparent monster.

Which begs the question: how the **** have Sony not been able to get this sorted by now. The PS5 should be powerful enough.
Yonashi shows a surprising amount of depth within a minimal design here; the artwork, clue presentation and other extra touches make Rain unique enough to please, earning an unreserved recommendation.
