The month of October is generally one of the biggest months for game releases and this year is no exception. We’ll see a handful of franchise titles launched that will see a follow-up release on next-gen consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4 again in November. For fans of the Nintendo 3DS you are in luck as there is a great deal of handheld releases this month led by Pokemon X & Y. For consoles the big ones include Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Skylanders Swap Force, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and Batman Arkham Origins.

This seems to be referring to updates to the current steam version. If a remake does get announced it will absolutely be sold separately

These days, it's mostly remake and remasters. The only people that make new games are Indie and the Chinese games companies.
People say they like the old style AC games yet when they made one nobody bought it. I prefer the RPG style AC games better personally so I’ll Skip Black Flag. Never understood why it’s so highly regarded in the first place.
Love(d) AC 4. Been replaying it recently, actually. Idk what their price will be for this release, but I can't see spending anything close to full price for it. Maybe years from now when I feel like another playthrough.
