Lets not start a flame...... ah who am i kidding with :/

cococabana4499d ago

haha yea not happening. People need the tiniest reason to jump the gun in these matters :P

pompombrum4499d ago

This is the first I've heard of this lol.. wow EA looked beyond desperate and possessive with that question sheet. Why on Earth would they feel the need to stoop so low is beyond me.. let how good the game is do the talking.

ATi_Elite4499d ago (Edited 4499d ago )

The Biggest problem EA faces Right Now:

Can they make enough BF4 disc to satisfy the millions (Using The Rock's voice) "and Millions of fans worldwide" that are gonna buy BF4 day1 and 2!

COD has it's fans but right now BF4 is ALL the rage cause they didn't just copy n paste like COD they went out and made improvements and then added all kinds of NEW stuff.

BF4 I can't wait to blow Stuff up and have it change the map.

Battlefield since 1942!

Razputin4499d ago

See I was always a huge BF fan, but once it stopped after BF2 on PC I switched to consoles and CoD was game of choice.

With that said I got extremely bored after MW2 -- also the fact that I came back PC gaming also helped, but still I bought Black Ops and that was fun for a while but the mindless running and gunning and the CoD formula is dying.

There are a lot of CoD fans out there, and I don't get mad that they play it, but I know they are missing out on a hell of an experience with BF, on PC at least.

Meh, I'm sick of military shooters as it is. Both of these games will continue to be milked into oblivion.

ATi_Elite4499d ago

Sick of Military shooters?

Well go buy a PC and play:

Planetside 2
Hawken
Chivalry Medieval Warfare
Mechwarrior Online
Firefall
Tribes:Ascend
STALKER Series

just to name a few of great shooter that are not Modern Military

TheEnigma3134498d ago

I have a PC. That what I've mainly been playing on recently.

gaelic_laoch4499d ago

Why people feel the need to compare these two games is beyond me!

Battlefield....Think then Shoot
COD............Shoot then Think

Pain_Killer4499d ago

^Truth

Battlefield is much better than what COD would ever be. EA shouldn't be afraid, they have won the battle against COD, one with Titanfall and one one Battlefield.

venom064499d ago

you meant to say

COD......Shoot DONT think

gaelic_laoch4499d ago

YOUR RIGHT!!!

Any time I think of COD my Brain Stops Working....!

Einhert4499d ago (Edited 4499d ago )

They are both just as arcadey and bad as the other

Battlefield

How people on forums and comments sections describe it

"tactical shooter that needs teamwork"

How it really is...

"Give me the jet noob"
*why is that guy trying to teamkill me?*
*why do team mates not revive, throw ammo or repair?!*
"lol my K/D is 4.5 noob"
*why is my team sitting back when we only have 1 flag?*
*why did I get kicked for getting 70 kills?*

Meanwhile in Arma II/III...

venom064499d ago

this article is STUPID.. why the hell would you bring up something from 2 years ago when talking about a game that's coming out now. if the game is good, then its good.. but bring up something that happened 2 years ago and say that it will something to do with the results of BF4 is plain idiotic.. this dumb-ass author is clearly fishing for some reason for the greatness that is BF4 to do bad... the fact that this is 2 yrs later and 60FPS and 64 man servers will do well for the Battlefield franchise.

Kotick Made $155 million from MS in the buyout, the little b*tch needs to stop whining. Thanks to this Microslop deal and massive industry consolidation thousands upon thousands of devs and other workers lost their livelihoods. This greedy piggie pervert needs shut up and f-off.

Saudi Arabia Will Own 93 Percent Of Battlefield 6 Publisher EA

When the dust settles on the $55 billion leveraged buyout of Electronic Arts, Saudi Arabia will be its only true owner, despite a “consortium” of investors being involved in the deal. Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund will control 93 percent of the company, according to filings with Brazil’s antitrust regulator.

blacktiger44d ago

Technically speaking, Saudi Arabia and TENCENT can buy the entire USA. ANf Democrat and Republican will not do crap!

Inverno44d ago

Letting foreign entities own half of American businesses is liberal and very progressive. So is bringing in all that talent from outside the States to replace the talentless and lazy American workers. And here I thought the Trump administration wanted to border is up but nope. We're supposed to worry bout them "radical Muslims" minding their own here and ignore China/Saudi/Israel taking over.

blacktiger44d ago

Another thing I hate hearing is "liberal and very progressive"
It's 2025 and that stuff is outdated. Everything and everyway is literally the same thing wheter it's progressive, conservativ. Because they all wants the same thing have, king unlimited oney buy everything including your house.

Now they making mainstream media news that it's AI Bubble justify to highjack the price of RAM.
Another excuse for inflation!

Tacoboto44d ago

"here I thought the Trump administration wanted to border is up but nope"

Lol, you actually bought what he was selling? Let's see this week alone...

Yesterday he pardoned an international drug lord, while allowing the murder of random fishermen on boats. Remember drain the swamp? He pardoned a Democratic Congressman jailed for bribery just today, nevermind that fraudulent drag queen republican that was kicked out of Congress and imprisoned for their fraud. It's so petty they're picking fights on social media with pop stars while using their music, and even using Franklin the damn Turtle to cartoonify their murders.

thorstein43d ago

You believed him!?!!

I've got some Trump $5000 bills for you, only half off.

Inverno42d ago

People I do not use /s to point out my sarcasm. Should be obvious I don't believe anything coming out of Trump's mouth or any politicians mouth.

Looking on the bright side, the games may be patched to remove any ideologies that are incompatible for the majority of the world.

Microsoft needs to listen or risk irreparable harm to Call of Duty

Windows Central: "The money may keep rolling in, but Microsoft is the custodian of one of the biggest selling video game series in history. If something doesn't change, I fear we'll reach a breaking point and irreparable damage will have been done."

Because ms is so good at managing studios, surely they will get it right

:P

franwex51d ago

In my view, they should probably merge MP with Warzone and essentially make it free to play like Halo Infinite. The campaign/zombies mode can be $30 yearly DLC. I know this would be insanity as most COD players essentially pay the full price of the game simply for the MP. However-with a shrinking player base they may have to consider it. Making it free would bring in a ton of players.

Profchaos51d ago

To late MW3 should have been a lesson but here we are two years later with a steaming pile a shite called blops7

Nothing lasts forever, eventually something will come along to make people forget about COD

Halo killer once arrived and technically call of duty killer also arrived, its name is Fortnite

dveio51d ago

Call of Duty was riding the revenue horse and charts for ~20 years. Whether undeserved or deserved.

But I endorse everyone to remind you that Microsoft could have decided differently when they took it over.

The money was certainly there, and they could have taken their time revamping the franchise:

Current-gen tech, manageable microtransactions, not imitating Fortnite and returning to core values of the franchise's origin.

They didn't.

Let's see next year. Hopefully without the then 13 years old PS4 and One hardware.

blacktiger51d ago

you need to stop saying "let see next year"
