Though it seems like virtual reality is only now just within our grasp, this isn’t the case. Rigs like the Oculus Rift, more or less, have been around for quite a while. The Rift’s real achievement is not that it sort of looks like we’re “inside” the (probably broken in some way) demo, but that it’s cheap and not impossible to configure. It wasn’t uncommon for a fancy arcade — when arcades were still a thing — to have multiple VR rigs, complete with motion controllers so you weren’t stuck facing one direction (toward the keyboard and mouse) like you are with the Rift. Once upon a time, twenty years ago, even Sega was developing a VR headset for the Genesis. Nintendo, as you may know, created the Virtual Boy, which famously bombed so hard it’s now an expensive collector’s item. The Oculus Rift, though, was the first device that proved that the tech could work in a consumer setting, and be relatively simple and cheap. Now, perhaps due to all of the confidence gained from the PS4′s con...

I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Naughty Dog was reportedly divided on the controversial fate of Joel in The Last of Us Part 2 during the game's development.
I think it was good decision, if he was still alive, he would have been a mascot just like Kratos, drake and many others. These old dudes gotta die for new characters to take center stage with their own storyline. They keep dragging the emotional baggage into many sequels and eventually the story just turns into absolute shit show.
Honestly as much as I loved the game, they could have just not killed him off.
I get it creator vision and all but killing a character that made you millions is just wrong imo. At least have him go down fighting.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
Since i will go for the PS4, i will getting the one that provide the best quality price ratio for my PS4, either the oculus or the Sony headset
Well the VR headset, no doubt, would cost a lot to buy (probably to much for your average user and only good for those who are really into VR) so no. Not at all.
edit: VR headset have to be decent for sub 100 before you get the average console user interested (i.e. a long way off that)
Someone needs to get VR right, I don't care who it is. That's the holy grail of gaming immersion right there. If Sony lead the charge I hope the take the tech seriously and not relegate it to the sidelines.
I am sorry but a VR headset is not going to kill Xbox. As cool as it may become, or as gimmicky it may turn out. It's not going to kill off an entire platform. Geesh.
