Those screenshots dont look as good as other I've seen. It looks like the game is lacking AA, based on those screens.

Edit. Well not in all of them but at least the gameplay ones. Cut scenes look great though.

I developed a bit of a trucker mouth as soon as I saw that screen. My roommates are probably wondering why I was screaming, "Holy balls!!" in such an excited voice. Can't wait until February.

Oh wait, yes I can. Killzone, Driveclub, Outlast, Planetside 2 and Battlefield 4 will keep me company until I get to run amok in Seattle as Delsin Rowe.

So far, it looks like Sony 1st party is handily carrying on the tradition. This just looks amazing and it's nowhere close to February yet.

Guess I'll have the same problem next gen as this current one: friggin' backlog.

I'm inclined to agree with you there. But The Order and The Division look great too! It's a tie between those three for me. But the fact that Infamous is a HUGE open-world game is a big plus.

I agree and I want to dislike this game so much (because, for me, the set up craps all over the wonderful good ending) but this game is shaping up to be something great

edit @xHeavYx I know which is a reason for me to dislike this game. I loved the I2 ending. It was perfection and the premise to this game annoys me a little bit

Delsin absorbs all those powers

Revealed he’s the real Beast and John in Infamous 2 was just an anomaly created by timelines being messed with by Kessler.

First we get the Tushima sequel(coz its most rumored)
Then a new Resistance (need new PS SP FPS)
Then a totally new IP (new IPs are always interesting)
And then a new inFamous?

If I had a choice between another Infamous game and another Spider-Man game, I choose Spider-Man. Sony should spend its resources on its winners.

Infamous was such a winner its studio was given the freedom (after 3 titles + their expansions) to do a new IP with GoT, just like with Sly Cooper before infamous.

I'd welcome a 4th title even more than another Spider-Man, it'd be exciting what they could do with new powers fit for the hardware outside the limits of a licensed superhero game.

I liked it but it ended too quickly. You could tell it was a launch game and wasn’t as good as the first 2 but it was still a pretty good game imo I just wish it lasted longer

Sony has so many great dominant IP's that they can bring back, such as Infamous, Socom, Ape Escape, Jak & Daxter, Siren, Sly Cooper, Killzone, Twisted Metal, Little Big Planet, Gravity Rushy, Motorstorm, Wild Arms, Resistance, Wipeout, Alundra, Colony Wars, Cool Boarders, Knack, Syphon Filter, Dark Cloud, Omega Boost, The Legend of Dragoon, G-Police, The Getaway and so on. Many of these games is what defines Playstation and sets them apart in previous generations.

I rather they focus on that, instead of Live Service games that's been so heavily invested now days.

They could also work with third parties developers to bring these franchises back like Parasite Eve, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver, Dino Crisis, Ridge Racer, SSX, Tenchu, Jade Cocoon, Xenogears, Lunar Silver Star, Nightmare Creatures, Vagrant Story, Shadow Hearts, Driver, Breath of Fire, Tomba, Legend of Legaia, Okami..etc

I'm more of a new IP dude but infamous is one of the few series I want more of. Second son 2 where you play as delsin, fetch, and the video game guy (eugene I think?), Infamous 3 where cole comes back and maybe teams up with delsin against a new threat, A new game where maybe you pllay as another new protag who has to fight against an evil deslin who got messed up from absorbing too many powers and became some unstable super powered dude similar to the beast in infamous 2. Or just a whole new plot, characters and city. Series has a lot of potential

Problem with infamous is the morality system played into the endings in all the games so even though the player gets a choice for good of bad ending a sequel typically has to chose one of those endings to make cannon which may not align with players.

However I would love another one of these games they were all amazing
