"The company has announced that Blu-ray movies will now be available for rent and sale in all of its stores in the U.S. and Canada."
"After committing to the format in July, Blockbuster began offering Blu-ray in a limited number of stores. It was just a matter of time before the transition went company-wide."
"The next time you venture into one of their stores, you'll likely see a Blu-ray kiosk featuring a 42-inch high-definition TV with movies playing via a PS3."

"Now, with this national rollout, we believe Blockbuster is perfectly positioned to drive consumer adoption of this next generation DVD format and to become the customer's headquarters when it comes to renting or buying Blu-ray movies, whether in-store or online."

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.

Many, many blockbuster stores have had Blu-ray films for quite a while.
It's only just becoming more widespread, that's all...
