Well I'm not sure where the "few exclusive" statement came from but Titan Fall surely has cost micro$ft a huge chunk of change being that EA is the publisher.

exactly...this is clearly fanboyish....15 is not that much fewer than 20 in the first year...esp considering out of the ones that have been announced so far...the quality is clearly in XB1 favor...not to mention it seems a good chunk of PS4 exclusives are indie games like octadad or games like knack. At least the XB1 kiddie games are like Project Spark...

Sony's exclusives dont include the indie games though. So they still have about 15 more to announce for the 1st year and then at least 10 more after that.

I do agree that 15 isnt a few though, its basically MS's exclusive 360 (not including downloadable or HD collection games) output for the last 4-5 years.

P.S. Dont hate on knack its by Mark Cerny.

No dude. Indie's aren't included into MS's 15 exclusives, and the same with Sony's 20 exclusives.

Eh isn't Octodad a game already on other platforms? And most Indies games shown at E3 weren't exclusive, they were just celebrating the Indies themselves.

Indie games don't count, only AAA first party games. Also, how many Kinect games are part of those 15? There's already Kinect Sports which we know of, and another moto gp they showed a trailer of.

Yea it really can't be argued that XBone doesn't have a lot of exclusives. They DID show a lot more exclusives than Sony at E3, so yea. That being said, we still have yet to see Sony's exclusive lineup. Here's hoping we see more at Gamescom!

No denying this game being on xbox one alone ea will lose some money as are any exclusives..but i cannot deny this can be a console seller IF the multiplayer is as impressive and innovative they are claiming it will be. I hope it really is..but only time will tell.

Although that "Xbox One having few exclusives" comment might be a little bit over the top lol.

It may never come to PS4 even when the exclusive runs out. Respawn doesn't have faith in the PSN.

Even if it does, why would you want to wait for a year (at least) just to jump on the bandwagon that everyone else has moved past already..and then wait to play it on a network that isn't as good...you do realize it's primarily an online mp game

I'm really not bothered about Titanfall to be honest, i'm alot more excited about Planetside 2 as far as MP goes..

So you don't think PS4's online capabilities will be sufficient for this game?

Planetside 2 will be more demanding than this from an online perspective.

Dude, that link you posted about this game not possible without MSFT's cloud servers does not mean it may never be available for the PS4. The article has a point, being that it depends on using the features of the cloud and dedicated servers, but remember, the compitition also uses similar services.

Except, the individual studios don't get to make that sort of call at all. If EA sees the potential for money in it, they will port it if it doesn't violate their contract with Microsoft. Let's face it, EA is the type of company that doesn't play favourites.

The game itself is Online ONLY. They confirmed that awhile ago. That aside, I'm sure many would still jump on it, or if anything maybe Titanfall 2 will launch on both console at the same time?(Let's face it, this game is going to be a hit, exclusive or not, it's stellar)

That all aside, I'll probably just get it on PC. I prefer shooters on PC anyhow.

We know it will come to PS4 it's a given, people need to give it a rest

Plus not possible without the cloud makes no sense when it's coming out on PC and X360. The fact is they are saying what they are saying because it's a time-exclusive, MS have paid for this time-exclusive and that's the bottom line of it.

I doubt it, because it's also on 360,not to mention PC, this cross generational sales tactic is a good way to bridge the exclusivity gap...

I would put money on this being the gears of war of next gen as far as Xbox goes.

I agree its likely a timed exclusive.. developers especially EA will not ignore the massive PS4 install base when the systems get released. PS4 will outsell Xbox One at launch and you'd have to be stupid to ignore such a massive install base.

So....games are not the seller for this guy? Then why buying a gaming console? Let me guess, he throws around the whole "I'm a gamer, so I choose the PS4 cause it's a gamer console...it's more powerful so I can play octadad and knacknbut I don't get consoles cause of games"

What you said didn't make sense... but I'll spell out my argument anyway.

Basically, Microsoft doesn't have a lot of noteworthy exclusives. At least not shipping with the console this Christmas. Which I do say in the article, if you took the time to read it. (And thanks if you did.)

Compared to PS4, the one game to catch fire on Xbox One was Titanfall. That's the bulk of my argument.

Titanfall only a timed exclusive respawn them selfs have said they want to hit all platforms, this game does look good bit doesn't sway my choice on the ps4, and this gen I adored the 360 was my little joy box and still will be for another year untill I completely forget about it.

Since when does 20 mean a lot, and 5 less mean a few? Who drew that line between many and few? I don't get it.

I agree with a lot of people though that Titanfall will be a timed exclusive, but why would you want to wait until the game is stale. I feel for PS3 players when they finally got Mass Effect after 360 owners had dusted it. I'd love Last of Us to come to Xbox, but it's already stale. I already know what happens in it. Timed exclusives are still a huge point of sale. Timed DLC is the questionable one.
