Following in the footsteps of Battle For Middle Earth II and Command & Conquer 3, a new challenger approaches this platform with a new and evolved control scheme, and cross-platform online play with the PC as well via Xbox Live!. The developer of Universe At War, Petroglyph is made up of classic developers from Westwood, and has previously released the Star Wars: Empire At War series. This is their first original IP, and their first console port as well. Unfortunately, this is also their first failure, and while it does a few good things for the genre on a system without a keyboard and mouse, it falls flat of being a good game."
Pros:
-Great controls on a console
-Cross-platform online play with PC
Cons:
-Uninteresting and repetitive campaign
-Weak assets and design
-Plot is rushed and stiff

Steam currently has an amazing deal, get 75% off Universe at War: Earth Assault
But the savings are unbeatable. Just Cause2, Witcher 2, Plants Vs Zombies, Torchlight, Splinter Cell, blah, blah, blah. .. so many games I've purchased recently. It is almost like needing a fix, I am addicted to buying these discounted games! The only problem is that steam lists this game for $19.99 not $15.00
And even though I like Steam's crazy deals most of the time, you still have to sanity check Amazon.com, because they have this game for $7.23 @ the moment.

Direct2Drive has slashed 75% off of SEGA's Universe at War: Earth Assault, taking the title down to just $5.

Right, like many of you (I’m sure), I can’t wait for the new Aliens Vs Predator game. I’ve really enjoyed the series and hope this new title won’t disappoint! So I’ve pre-ordered it via Steam out of laziness and habit. For some reason, they’re giving away some RTS I’ve never really paid any attention to with it. Universe at War: Earth assault. Um, well that’s nice.
