
The rather epic MOBA that is DOTA 2 is now officially playable on Mac and Linux!
The update also makes some other significant changes, including updates to the user interface, visuals, matchmaking and gameplay.
Big changes include a calender page which shows a list of tournament games per day. There’s also guild invitations, displaying who is inviting and how many members that guild has.
There’s also a new Earthshaker model and updates to Earthshaker effects.
Another big change is that those who decline matchmaking will be banned from playing for 45 seconds. There’s also a fixed bug for excessive queue times.

A total of 21 categories have been named, with the ceremony set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 19th, 2025.
