What Made TitanFall So Impressive At E3

In the middle of E3 earlier this month, the creators of the new game Titanfall posed for a photo in front of a massive statue of one of the giant exo-skeletons—don't call them mechs—featured in their game.

agreed, infact it even got IGN's best game of E3 award which I think is very bias and stupid. It DID NOT deserve that award, it was like a modified fps and it wasn't even that good. I think watch Dogs derverves it because it made something original and different and just the features makes it nice. I do not care what game won it but a fps did NOT deserve that award,

Yeah everbody is entitled to their opinion but I thought it was 1 of the best at E3, apparently so do most people considering all the attention. Even better news for X1 buyers is Respawn really focused on the X1 version, making it the best platform to play it on. I love shooters especially online with my bro's and a beer, lol so no doubt Titanfall will be day 1 on my X1.

Square miles, large scale battles, thousands on ONE map >>>>>> COD with Mechs

Well when the majority of the users here are Sony chum guzzlers it doesn't surprise me the reaction on n4g
However xbone really almost shit the bed with the drm and high price. Good thing they retracted their original plan.
I'm still not sold though
True the ps4 looks great so did the xbone
Hard to decide...

I feel the same way. The game definitely doesn't look bad by any means, but it didn't really wow either. I'm glad that Xb1 players will have this and everything, but it just doesn't look THAT impressive. The Division and Destiny look to be much, much better games in my opinion.

I thought The Division was game of show, personally.
2nd would be FFXV and 3rd would be TitanFall. That is my personal list.

This game is going to revitalize FPS's for me, didn't touch Black Ops 2 nor Battlefield 3, the whole genre was getting stale, this and Destiny have got me excited for the genre again.

No single player leave it lacking for my tastes, just because it feels lazy. Multiplayer looks awesome, but multiplayer isn't risky like singleplayer

Felt the need to address a issue that for some reason just conjured straight from thin air. Anytime someone is in defense mode is because they have their backs against the wall. So congrats and i am sure you will enjoy the game, as i will on my PC.

Not quite, I'm not really a fanboy but for the time being I prefer PC and PS4 far over Xbox One. The game didn't look that impressive to me and I can get it on PC if I change my mind.

That's funny. I'm firmly a Sony fan, and yet I thought the game looked like great fun.

Just goes to show how frequently wrong you are- not JUST you in particular, but definitely you- when you automatically assume it's down to fanboys and brand loyalty.

There doesn't, as of yet, seem to be anything particularly "special" about the game. It just looks like something I'd love to play. That said, I don't have a problem waiting for it to hit PS4. After all, that's been the way of things for most of the big-name third party exclusives on 360, and with EA publishing it- like many of the aforementioned titles- odds are more than favorable.

THey showed it running on a high end pc not xbone, those who believe it ran on xbone is messed up in the head so bad they would die for ms.

Xbone is not a high powered machine like pc's and ps4, xbone is meant more for media.

I usually don't try and fuel the sony fanboys of this site too much but......if this was on PS4 then it would be heralded as the resurrection of Christ.....

Titanfall is the main reason why i want to get an XB1....

I'm getting a ps4 as well but come on guys.....it looked like heaps of fun.....

Are the 2 new IPs that caught my attention.Titanfall seem like what MW3 should have been.Even the map display remind me of the CoD franchise.Even though I own an PS3 my opinion have nothing too do with it being an Xbox/PC exclusive.Personally I was hoping that Repsawn Ent. would try an different genre.

It's not just ign saying it was the most impressive game read kotaku,gameinformer wich it's a cover story for this months edition,revision,neogaf,polygo n,joystick,gametrailers,vg247.s ometimes you just need to give a game it's props.if you like multiplayer your not gonna wanna miss this one.

It looked fun but the FPS market is already saturated with these new FPS that want to "change" the genre. I dunno if adding jetpacks and mech suits would do just that since other FPS have done it before. killzone 3 and halo 4 to name a few.

That's the site that didn't like Last of Us and the writer exposed himself as having not even played the game.

He claimed he tried not to expose Ellie to violence and it made the game not his cup of tea.

Meanwhile, in reality, Ellie was a foul mouthed killer during the game. Stabbing grown men and putting arrows through skulls. Glad the Polygon guy protected that delicate little flower.

conclusion - He gave the game of the generation a 7.5 after he never played it.

Anything Polygon is horse doody.

Titanfall looked like a lot of fun, but I wouldn't say it was the best game at e3.
