Your abrupt comment gives off a disgruntled vibe. It seems like you didn't like one of the endings, the ending that they probably wont continue with but included to give gamers an option to end the story their own way.

It is a major problem with creating a choice driven game, but still wanting to convey the story the developer had in mind, and the experiences the developer wants the player, and the character, to go through.

Perhaps they will go with one determined ending, or maybe try something really ambitious and start a new game off with branching stories depending on the endings (which they would probably do anyways concerning what the player chose with other events in ME3). However, it doesn't seem like you are interested in conversation judging by your short comment so I will just end it there.

Yeah the lead designers definetely worked hard... worked hard at lying to us about Mass Effect and falsely advertising their game.

We're talking about Mass Effect trilogy which certainly is not a choice driven game. It did tried to be a choice driven game but it isn't as none of the choices we made had any impact in the ending.

You claim you could write a better story. I'm just going to say that writing for videogames, in a way to stay compelling, focused, and can find relevance among the real meat that is the gameplay, is more difficult than it is to write for film.

Now, add on to that the new things they were trying with this game in terms of player choice influencing the story (you can still claim it was worthless, or whatever, but you cannot deny they made the attempt). Perhaps you could have written a better one, but I wouldn't bet on it. Considering how angry you appear to be about it, that was some fantastic writing to get you that hooked.

@witwolfy: I hate when you crazy people lump all of us 'hardcore' fans in with you. I've been a fan since the very beginning and thought the EC endings were completely fine. The only thing that disappointed me was lack of a boss battle.

Once again, dont throw the term 'hardcore' around as though you're of the majority opinion. You're not. Most of the fanbase actually hates people like you for the amount of babyish crying you did last year, still.

Its a series of videogames, grow up, deal with it, or move on. Don't drag the people who want more games down to your level.
