It is just EA people love to hate them. Most people have no clue what it costs to make games and/or even how they are made. If it has EA in the title they usually swarm like ants to sugar. I would guess most did not read anything but the title, and started to flame away. It is the developers job to come in on time and on budget. Publishers are not just going to keep tossing money at them every time they do not meet a goal. EA has a lot of titles to worry about, and a preset budget for each. It is up to the Game Designers and Producers to make sure everything is on track if not fix it. As far as used games I can not blame them for fighting for their money just like I cant blame gamers for fighting for theirs XD.

Unfortunately MGregory alot of the younger gen of gamers don't think before they type. However a lot of people just don't like the policies and moves EA has made. I for one understand that if EA dies, so many games die with it.

EA is big, and their demise would hurt the industry. They have done some good, but most of that has gone away because EA has made gaming about getting money only and not about the people that matter,the gamers. Until they stop forcing bad drm and microtransactions (pay to win) down our throats i don't see people changing their attitudes towards them.

You first need to get educated on how public relations work with these companies. Privately contacting a company DOES NOT WORK. Do you know why? They don't care.

You live in a fantasy world where you don't understand how these businesses operate: they only care about money.

You have to whine and shout and make enough noise so that the casual gamers who are clueless are no longer clueless. You have to get them to recognize that they CANNOT support bad business practices. It means you have to use twitter and forums and chats and websites like this to spread the word so that people DO NOT buy anti-consumer products from an anti-consumer company.

EA just wants money but they don't want to take the necessary steps to provide good service to the people they want the money from. It may be their business to make money but it doesn't mean they have to be so negligible about it.

Your suggestions reek of someone too young to understand how business works, and unfortunately you perpetuate the kind of thinking that continues to keep gaming media in the gutter. Every article defending EA or trying to "calm the masses" is an article that they use to proliferate their continued gimmicks wallet-stealing antics.

You won't understand until it's too late, though. I really wish people like you would get educated about the cut-throat world of corporate capitalism and the lengths companies like EA go to in order to maintain the status quo before jumping on gamers for trying to protect their hobby.

At least gamers, unlike gaming media, understand what's at risk.

EDIT: I'd also like to make you aware that gamers DO NOT need EA as much as EA needs gamers. Without consumers publishers don't exist, but games can exist without publishers. Even if EA goes bust someone else can pick up the license(s) and there's always the crowd-funding route. So no, your spread of misinformation that EA is needed is further proof you're part of the problem, not the solution.
