Thats a little to much for me Hahaha

DA_SHREDDER4755d ago (Edited 4755d ago )

agreed, dude looks like a total douche, lmao

konnerbllb4755d ago (Edited 4755d ago )

Who cares what he looks like, are you looking for a date?

malokevi4755d ago

I think its a cool idea. The way he moves forward would destroy my neck, though.

Jyndal4755d ago

Jeez...when are people, as well as game designers, going to get the idea?

When I want to do something physical, I go outside and hike. When I want to veg out on the couch, I game.
Simple, really.

Bigpappy4755d ago

I got an idea. Just don't buy the game.

SilentNegotiator4755d ago (Edited 4755d ago )

Great idea!

SilentNegotiator4755d ago

No wait, buy the game (on PC), but not the other stuff.

elhebbo164755d ago

I have to disagree, some of us like the immersion. and sometimes real life is just, well, boring.

malokevi4755d ago

Yea and when I wanna go to war I just hop on the next plane to Syria with weapons and ammunition.

Shadonic4755d ago

Then do that there really not forcing it unless the entire game only works with kinect. your speaking as if bethesda didn't release the game without any kinect functionality a year ago. Stop hating on anything that's motion controlled and open your eyes you still have your base options you love to play with, you just want to complain. I love crashing out on the couch for hours playing games and eating snacks as much as the next guy but that dosnt mean you should just totally cast away the ones that do enjoy that style of playing the game because it gives them a better sense of immersion of walking through skyrim then your normal couch and controller does.

Hmmm, these fads often come back every decade or so, I remember in the 80's virtual reality was big, in the 90's it was big again, especially with movies and things like Virtual Boy, and now I guess it's time for it to come back for a bit.

Scenarist4755d ago (Edited 4755d ago )

hopefully tech has advanced to the point where it can be done proper ..

the way I see it , we are to the point were we just need to get latency down to within a few ms and all is looking good

fr0sty4755d ago (Edited 4755d ago )

I think it's here to stay this time. This is the first time it's been tried where the hardware was actually powerful enough to render a convincing virtual world that wasn't a bunch of untextured polygons or monochrome 2d or basic wireframe 3d with no textures.

Not to mention the first time true head tracking without nasty lag has been available in a commercial VR kit.

chobit_A5HL3Y4755d ago

this stuff is always better in theory lolz having to play actual games like this is unpractical and a novelty at best. imo, anyways~ this is the stuff you'd show off to people when they come over to your house, but i'd say the majority of people just like to sit back and play their games rather than lean and wave their arms around~

they can't get a 14 year old game to run smoothly?

jjb1981152d ago

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
