Rumor: Until Dawn adds DualShock controller support

Warp Zoned writes:

"Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead reboot isn’t the only “cabin in the woods” a group of unlucky teens will be exploring this year as the PS3-exclusive Until Dawn is still on track for a 2013 release. After the game was announced last year, developer Supermassive revealed that the game was designed for use with the PlayStation Move controller and that the motion control peripheral was required for Until Dawn. PS3 owners requested DualShock supprt, but a PlayStation Blog post from October reconfirmed that the Move was the only planned input option for the game."

And that's the way it should be. The game looks promising, It reminded me of alan wake, but better.

@SNOOKIES12 did like the atmosphere and traveling the linear path so i wouldnt get lost and the hints all over the place to find ammo and such. But and whats up with only a revolver a shotty and a rifle with a flare gun thats the only weapons? Im not including the flashbangs and flares. Its an OK rent though.

Yeah, I was hyped on Alan Wake until I saw two hours of it. The story was good, but man the gameplay seemed so boring.

Alan Wake was a good game stretched longer than it should be.

Snookies124770d ago (Edited 4770d ago )

@tentonsoftube - I should have added that in my previous comment. The atmosphere in Alan Wake was certainly great, I really liked that aspect. It started out wonderfully, but I felt it kinda dropped the ball as it went.

OMG PLEASE BE TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't own a move controller and really want to see some half naked girls get killed in hilarious ways!

AnotherProGamer4770d ago

hmmm I thought this was confirmed since the start? or maybe I am thinking of another game

DigitalRaptor4770d ago

That's a nice option. I will still be playing it how it was intended from the start though.

abzdine4770d ago

i thinkn i'll still stick with the Move it seems so well implemented.
Now hurry and release this game mister Sony

Great month for Halloween, glad that until dawn is the PS5 version, definitely having a few beers and some friends round for that

Profchaos208d ago

What a line up silent hill 2 is a great addition
Also don't sleep on like a dragon Yakuza such a good game

Dexterio208d ago

Now we're talking! Best month for me this whole year.

Puty208d ago

I am very happy for Tekken 3

Redgrave207d ago

It's not going to get trophies, is it 😕

It's a really solid addition, but I'd love a platinum for it. Same with Soul Calibur 3 if that's really next month.

Deeeeznuuuts207d ago

Yeah, it's a real shame that some publishers still don't add trophies, I mean, even Disney do and they even update games to add them

VersusDMC207d ago

Some PS2 classics have trophies so hopefully Soul Calibur 3 has it.

And ps1 classics not having trophies is dissapointing but at least they give you the new version for free if you bought the old ps1 classic.

I'm confused. Did they contribute to the writing of the movie?

darthv72376d ago

I think the game writes should be glad... the movie is not that good. Its connection to the game is in name only.
