Ubisoft has announced Flashback, an HD re-imagination of the classic 1992 side-scroller due for release on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network this summer.
GOG is giving away Flashback as part of their Summer Sale. All you have to do to add Flashback to your collection is go to the GOG website or the game’s page.

I have zero faith in the execution after how bad that remake was.

I was so excited for the remake too... I loved the original so much. Maybe they can prove us wrong, but after the remake I don't have any real expectations for this either.

It was very much a product of it's time. Unless they have some real talent, we're going to end up with a disappointing, needless sequel.

This game was cutting edge on debut. I want to think I may have had this on 3DO, can’t remember. Maybe SegaCD.

This and Out of this World changed gaming. Nice to see it coming back.

An amazing game on the Amiga back in the day with some of best animation I've ever seen.
