Epic Citadel Available For Android, iOS Version Updated

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Earlier today, Epic Games released Epic Citadel for Android on both Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. Originally released in 2010 for iPhone and iPad, the glorified tech demo served to showcase the company's Unreal Engine 3 running on smartphones and tablets. It also served as somewhat of an intro for Chair Entertainment's Infinity Blade series.

Infinity Blade still iOS-exclusive, despite Epic Citadel release

Epic Games have released Epic Citadel, a free app that officially brings the powerhouse Unreal Engine 3 to Android mobile devices. Infinity Blade remains exclusive to iOS, however.

Epic Games Says Android Fragmentation Is What’s Holding Back Unreal Engine On The Platform

Jay Wilbur, Epic’s Games Vice President said during an interview gushed about how much he loved the Android platform, and that he’s company is working hard on bring the Unreal Engine to Android. But, because the operating System is so fragmented it’s taking a lot longer to create.

I didn't think an iPhone could do a game like that. The use of the descendants also sounds interesting.
