Skyrim and The Pause

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a game of epic proportions. Too bad the load times are equally epic. Have gamers overlooked this crushing flaw when lavishing Bethesda with praise?

Should have gotten the PC version I guess.

You really can't expect a game the size of Skyrim to be perfect.

on ps3 i had no problem on the loadings actually

and on pc, it was pretty much none existance

didn't play this one on consoles so I don't know, but on Fallout games on PS3 anytime you entered a building (even a small house) there's at least a 5-10 second wait time, but on PC there's no wait at all.

and about the complaint on having to switch weapons/spells, on PC keyboard buttons 1-8 can be mapped to an action, but on consoles only 2 can be (right or left hand), so obviously the play experience would be very different, I can have a summon spell, heal spell, heal companion spell, buff spell, all mapped to a single button press.

well, i should have gotten the PC version.

Running the game on a RAMDisk myself with over 200 mods and my loads are less than 3 sec. and all the interface issues are a console problem. not with the game, since the game is clearly meant to be modded.

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
