I take it Europe will still have to wait another several months before Sony contemplates selling them over here?

I love the controller I've had it for a few months and not one drop in connection. It's great I just wish IW would get off their lazy asses and add it to COD4.

can you imagine the lines of people who are going to be trading in their SixAxiS controlls for DualShock 3's? It's going to be a very busy day for game retailers

This is a good day if you own a PS3. All the release dates set and now we are getting the Dual Shock 3 earlier than I expected. I won't be getting GT5 prologue though I will be waiting for the full version.

Now I can buy up all those Sixaxis controllers people will be trading in for DS3 for CHEAP. I'm glad I'm in the minority that prefers non rumble controllers.

...or at least sooo 2005, when the 360 launched. :p

why not order off play-asia... it's almost the same price but you get the DS3 way sooner. i love my DS3 but i still think rumble is over-rated

I think dual shock is kinda of useless in FPS at least in terms of multiplayer cuz it messes up my aim plus drains the batteries on those marathon play nights... adventure games like uncharted on the other hand.. get ready for a whole new experience!

i dont think its too expensive.

i own a 360, and controllers are usually about $40 bucks, so for an extra $15 your getting a controller with rumber and some motion in it. Now I consider that a next gen controller.

too bad it wasn't released like that one day one, so to add another $110 for a couple of controllers on top of what some people paid for their ps3 ($599, $499, $399) could seem very expensive to most people.

But for the people that have been holding out for a ps3, they are lucky cause its nice to get it from the get-go.

since its not sold in the U.S yet, where can i buy one online ? my original controller that came with the 60gb is whacked out. if i turn my left joystick to the upper left hand corner it stays that way. i dropped it a few times so that most likely explains the damage. some times when im playing story mode on COD4 i like to use a lot of cover and take my time and blast everyone. except the fact that when i take cover my f****** character starts moving slowly out of cover and it is really f****** annoying. sometimes when the level begins my character is moving as well. how em i suppose to blitzcreig or however the hell you spell it, when my dude moves by himself!!!! where can i buy one online. (i know cod4 doesnt have it yet)!

too late got 2 of them back in Dec 07 from play asia , worht the extra 10 bucks , you guys will love it much better than the SixAxis

I imported two DS3's a week ago, worked out at £30.80 each. I don't mind paying an extra 81p each to get them a few months early. (Especially as Sixaxis are still £30 here)

Don't forget to pre-order if possible, there's no guarantee the stock will hold up if everyone wants them.

i don't know, i have two sixaxis controllers and i got an extra one for free with ps3 on black friday. I am not sure if i should buy one or not. I will figure it out when gta launches or something.

That is nice. Only an extra 4 dollars than the SIXAXIS. Ill be keeping my 2 sixaxis and getting two Dualshocks. I always got first dibs.

well...it is.but rumble,motion control,not having to buy batteries and is wireless IS NEXT GEN.

Its funny how everyone here is talking like rumble is a brand new feature thats never been used before. You were all so happy when rumble got ditched and motion controlling replaced it in the new PS3 controller. I don't think rumble will ever be removed from console controllers. It will never be 'last gen'

I guess gone are the days when controllers used to be about half the price of a game.

Expect to have some minor vibration or "rumble" disappointment issues in a few games.

You will see and feel it once you'ved downloaded vibration patch updates and set DualShock3 to "high".

In some games - vibration is barely noticeable, while some are pretty good.

But at least still thankful Sony listened and implemented back "rumble" feature.

Although i did have to pay about $10 more($5 if you dont include S&H)

PS3 should've had rumble from day 1. There are no excuses. Same with XMB in-game.

Looking forward to getting soon even though I can already buy them off of play-asia.com.
