The Wii U's eShop represents a big step forward in digital distribution for Nintendo, with eShop-only indie titles sharing shelf space with downloadable versions of major retail releases from day one. These larger titles can easily occupy over 10GB of space, with Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition confirmed to be over 16GB.
Whether you picked up the 8GB Basic console or the 32GB Deluxe version, chances are if you dabble much in downloading you're going to want to expand your available storage sooner or later. Luckily, Nintendo's made it easy to augment the Wii U's onboard storage with USB hard-disc drives (HDD), and Nintendo Life is here to walk you through the process and help you get the most out of your new Wii U.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.

Nintendo filed a lawsuit in the United States Court of International Trade.
Nintendo of America is suing the United States government over the sweeping tariffs President Donald Trump put in place last year, according to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade and obtained by Aftermath.
LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
The people should sue these companies for having to over pay cause of these tariffs.
I buy every game I can in physical form.. so I'm debating on getting a usb hard drive for my wii u.... I'm thinking the 32gb that my system has should suffice for a while...
It's tempting to get a 1tb hard drive from amazon when it's only $65..
ya i regret not getting the 1tb online i got convinced by a 500gb for 35 bucks not bad but my temptations won.
Got a 2tb for $79.99 on new egg (probably still there since I bought it just a couple of hours ago).
It's USB 3.0 (but all 3.0's can be used on 2.0 ports).
That and it has the power cord so you don't need to worry about there not being enough power.
They also have a 1.5 tb for I think the same price, but USB 2.0.
