A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

GF365: "The iconic survival horror franchise Resident Evil boasts a great number of popular and memorable characters. Arguably, Leon S. Kennedy is the most popular and recognizable character aside from Jill Valentine. In this article, we'll be counting down every Resident Evil game Leon is featured in, ranked."
Yeah I figured it would be ordered like this. For me Leons best game was his debut. RE2.

The modern entertainment industry has witnessed the rise of the Resident Evil franchise as one of its most renowned and celebrated multimedia phenomena. With numerous video games released across multiple platforms, it can be daunting for newcomers to determine where to commence their journey. So here is every main mainline Resident Evil Games ranked.
In preparation for the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake, let’s take the liberty to rank each of the mainline story instalments, providing players with a fundamental comprehension of the Resident Evil universe.
A: cause it sucks.
Because it's trendy to hate anything that's popular. Or in the case of RE, hate an established IP that decides to take a different direction from what its fanbase are used to.
Personally I don't think Capcom have shifted the RE games away from their roots as much as Square Enix have done with the FF games this gen.
Regardless, its bound to happen. People are constantly whining how <insert name here> is a cut and paste job of previous game in the series...the industry lacks innovation blah blah yet as soon as a franchise shifts its focus it gets blown to pieces by the media.
Apparently it would seem that only new IPs can be innovative without p*ssing off the majority of its 'fan-base'
Some parts of it are ok and some are complete crap. The camera and QTE's were friggin annoying. The enemies were crap too.Resident Evil Revelations on 3DS dumps on this game.
People say it's because it's not RE anymore.
To be honest, I think there's nothing wrong with a franchise changing direction - as long as they do it well.
I only tried the demo of RE6 but from that I knew I wouldn't purchase it.
The controls were horrible I thought. The imagery and scenery looked awful and the way they slapped this dark grainy atmosphere over it (in Leon's campaign anyway).
Chris' part felt terrible to play. I couldn't even finish it.
As I said, I won't throw in the whole 'IT'S NOT RE' argument. People said that when 4 came out but I thought 4 was fantastic. Personally, I felt it was exactly what the franchise needed. But if you're gonna go down the 100% action route, look at other games out there that do it far, far better.
