We shouldn't accept an inferior experience on our chosen platforms because the developer releases a game and doesn't fix it.
"It was so offensive to me"
A new Skyrim Switch 2 update delivers major visual upgrades, surpassing some console settings, but locks the game to 30fps and introduces noticeable input lag.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim lead designer Bruce Nesmith explains that the game's bucket stealth was an unintended feature of the game.
Then by that token all developers should be treated equally by platform holders. But are not. With different regulations, pricing for updates, wildly different hardware configurations, exclusive content deals, support from x but not y manufacturer, service features etc. sometimes the angry kid screaming at the "lazy developers" might want to look at the manufacturer instead. But of course, they rarely do.
No one seems has a problem when they're platform of choice gets "treated" the best.
Or what when a game bombs and the dev is out of business? Look at Kingdoms of Amalur, it will never receive a much needed patch. Shouldn't EA as a publisher support the game and those who bought it anyway?
