This is what happens when you Monopolize the NFL. Every one knew EA was going to F&%K up the football game. I will not buy another NFL game until more publishers are allowed to create NFL games….Because NFL and NFLPA-- EA SUCKS and it’s a BS deal you gave them!!!!

People will bi**h no matter what. This years Madden is real nice. New tacklin engine is tight and works real well. Online is less laggy than years past as well it seems. How about people dont just type what they think if they havent played the actual game. OR...OR they arent very good at the game thus they hate on it. Im guessin its the latter. Lol

The Online in Madden 12 and Every Madden before it was unplayable. Every move online was delayed and frustrated the hell out of me. Which makes it impossible to play my friends online.

I can't speak for Madden 13, but why after 7 years would a Madden FINALLY be playable online? Doubtful they fixed anything at all and I CANNOT WAIT for the NFL licensing agreement with EA to come to an end.

spunnups5000d ago

Nope, every other game plays just fine.

NFL 2K5: the best there ever was.

People are really stupid. Just like COD, its the same game every year! At the very least, purchase in 3 year intervals. Alteast, you'll have a better chance at improvements. Heh. Its like buying a new car model every year.

TheMasterShake5000d ago (Edited 5000d ago )

seen it, played it, its the same shit last year nothing much different. also that new engine is lackluster as shit and i expected alot better from the final product. well i didn't buy it so can't complain much. the only sports games that are have actual improvements are NBA 2K & MLB: The Show.

Syntax-Error5000d ago

Didn't buy yet and I'm glad I didnt. I used to buy Maddden day one, but in recent yeras I have waited because it has been awful. I wait for used copies to ensure they don't get my money or pay full price for a roster update. the new engine is buggy as hell from what I saw on the demo.

2k got slammed for online on NBA2k and i found to be fine 95% of the time.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee75d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator109d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
