Nope, youll make a fresh load of new mistakes, then say the same thing at the end, and so on

And i agree with hennessey86!

HammadTheBeast5008d ago

By that, they mean that they will push the Premium subscriptions even earlier, remember online passes for all their games, and overall remember to nickel and dime everyone for as much as they can.

Godmars2905008d ago

As far as I can tell, according by the Spoony One, they've been making the same mistakes they have since the Ultima series.

Relientk775008d ago

Yea, I dont really believe them

Like football or soccer to you americans, it's all about the money. There are no risks being taken anymore

bubblebeam5008d ago

I don't get the american part, I mean Soccer is one of the most corrupt sports (I'm A huge Fan BTW) and americans couldn't care for it.

But It is true that it is all about the money. Games used to be made by a few geeks in their basement, now it is run by CEO's who couldn't care less bout games and only try to rip off their customers to please the shareholders.

I don't buy games from EA anyway, so IDC really. Hae them with a passion.

He was just translating the word football to soccer for Americans.

ShabbaRanks5008d ago

Yup I miss the days were games were made by gamers... Not annalists . Thats why Id love to work in the gaming Industry and start my own company, but it’s not that easy. Plus I would need to go back to school. Never too late I guess

"We wont make the same mistakes"

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

badz14970d ago

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee82d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator116d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
