Too bad $60 will turn into a $100+ easily when you start needing bag and bank slots. I guess thats the price of "free to play" though.

The size, quality and amount of art/attention to detail in every area of every map is ridiculous and worth the $60 alone to explore it all honestly. It's not like other mmo's leveling wise as you can do whatever you want farm mats/craft/pvp/discover areas of the map that all give you roughly the same xp as killing enemies. When you're exploring you'll stumble upon dynamic quests that you can choose to do or ignore but most are worth it for the xp/money/karma (used to buy special items from vendors). There's an entire map dedicated to PvP where 3 servers fight for 2 weeks 24/7 as well as structured pvp. For $60 you're not going to find many games with the amount of content this one has and even fewer quality wise. Biggest thing is no monthly payment so once you buy it you can play it forever. Probably one of my favorite games to come out since demon's souls.

I would try this or Rift. I found all those games boring also.

Everything maxed in 1080p on my hdtv it looks stunning.

I played it a little years ago. It was fun but I had children after I started playing and gave it up so my wife wouldn’t hate me. I got to 50 and then hung it up

Arenanet is doing smthn wrong with marketing, I never once seen an ad for a gw2 expansion and always hear it like this once an expac is already released. Not that I would play it cause I'm a gw1 purist haha
