Just took a quick look, its not that detailed.

For both Skyrim and Oblivion I used uesp.net, the elder scrolls wiki.

Its got pretty much every single quest, item, character and location on there including books and lore. Its great for tricky quests and just as good to read out of interest.

I only bother with that to find solutions to quest bugs.

Walkthroughs just don't seem right for open-world games.

EDIT: well, modern open-world games. Definitely need 'em for those older and older-style JRPGs. Like Final Fantasy (the first one) and the earlier Dragon Quests, where it can be so crazy-hard to figure out where you're supposed to go next.

It really makes you appreciate just how far open-world gaming has come since the NES era.

Better really, really late than never I suppose.

Do you really need a walkthrough for Skyrim, is the fun not knowing whats coming next.

Reverent5016d ago

Wouldn't this have been more relevant a year ago?

I just started Skyrim a week ago (PS3 version, waited for bugs to be fixed). Along with me, there are still lots of people who are just starting to play it. But, as a couple people pointed out, I don't think there is really a need for a walkthrough. I have been using the Wiki though to look up Daedric items, armor stats, weapon stats, etc. 45 hours in so far and loving it! I feel like I've barely cracked the surface of this game.

in 45 hours you have barely cracked the surface ;) I am 115 hours now, still haven't started the dawnguard expansion yet!

they can't get a 14 year old game to run smoothly?

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
